The quality of the sound is marvelous and the artwork is very pretty. "Breezin' Along With the Breeze" charms me with its beauty; Jessica sings this with all her heart and soul and I think the music works very well on this number. "You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You" and "Ain't Misbehavin'" also go way back; but again they shine brighter than silver and gold when Jessica and the guys go at these tunes with all their might."Heart's Desire" ends the CD; Jessica Molasky sings this very sweetly and I like that. "I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover" goes way back; but Jessica Molasky makes it sound all so new and fresh with her enthusiasm and natural magnetism. I really like "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby / Baby Face." "A Kiss To Build A Dream On" is sure to please anyone who loves classic pop vocals; the title track is executed flawlessly and Jessica's voice conveys all the romantic qualities of this ballad. Bucky and Martin Pizzarelli also join in to make this a very special album."Happy Habit" starts the CD with a bouncy little number that sets the tone for quite an album.
"Happy Habit" signals an auspicious beginning for this CD and the music that accompanies Jessica Molasky as she sings just couldn't be better. We then get a medley of "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby / Baby Face;" "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby / Baby Face" has a wonderful guitar solo and Jessica performs this to perfection--and beyond. A Kiss To Build A Dream On is the latest album from Jessica Molasky; and it features the wonderful talents of John Pizzarelli. I highly recommend this album for Jessica's fans; and people who like classic pop vocals will like this CD as well. I always love to hear "Tea For Two;" but this rendition by Jessica and John is nothing short of total bliss. "Hiding In Plain Sight" again features Jessica Molasky and John Pizzarelli doing another duet and the piano arrangement gives this tune a certain elegance I rarely hear or enjoy. It's also a fine starter CD for people just getting to know the exceptionally talented Jessica Molasky.
There's also "Everybody Loves Louis;" and one number that really shines is certainly "Tea For Two" on which John Pizzarelli also sings. This is a fine CD to showcase Jessica's talents as a fine chanteuse. Overall, the newest album from Jessica Molasky sparkles like a bright star in the heavens. I think you'll like it. "Tea For Two" is a beautiful, timeless ballad that could never really go out of style and that's grand. The Pizzarellis help to enhance the musical arrangement along with some good work by Aaron Weinstein.
Just a great voice backed by a great group. What more could one ask for (on a CD).
A delightful mixture of familiar and unfamiliar songs beautifully sung by Jessica Molaskey, joined occasionally by her husband, John Pizzarelli. Accompanied by a great quartet, the music sings and swings. Obscure items like "Happy Habit" and "Everybody Loves Louie" and some originals give the whole disc a fresh flavor.
I program several radio stations. Hello Sunshine Hello is simply incredible. I am stunned at what I hear on this CD. Listen to the Pizzarelli family take on Les Paul and Mary Ford. Buy this Cd at any cost. It is unforgettable.
